New Danish Art in the Royal Suite
Art has always played a significant role at d'Angleterre, with original works displayed throughout the corridors, suites, and halls. In the Royal Suite, you can experience two captivating pieces created specifically for the space, in close collaboration with our creative director and chairman of the board. The artworks are by two internationally recognized Danish artists, Line Busch and Ruth Campau, who have each crafted a piece for the living room and the bedroom, respectively.
Playful, optical illusion in the living room
For the living room in our Royal Suite, Line Busch has created a piece that relates to the room's atmosphere in both format and color scheme.
The color transition is the core of the work, and due to its three-dimensional structure, there is a constant dynamic that changes depending on the light and where in the room you stand.
“I work with optical illusion and transformation, and for the suite, I have created a graduated blue wall object made from long, hand-cut canvas pieces that twist vertically to create an optical illusion and a kinetic effect,” says Line Busch.
Line Busch (born 1979) is known for her abstract paintings, where sharp lines and a carefully considered color palette create both dynamism and harmony. With a pronounced sense for details and materials, she explores the balance between chaos and order.
