Culture Night
On 9 October, Copenhagen comes alive for Culture Night, as the city’s streets and squares are filled with light, life, and experiences for guests of all ages.
At the very heart of it all, Kongens Nytorv becomes a natural gathering point – and here we invite you to take a little pause from the evening’s many activities or to bring a hot treat with you on your route to warm both hands and hearts on this magical evening.
Maison
In front of Maison, you will find our charming pink trolley serving cookies, steaming hot chocolate crowned with sweet meringue ghosts, and hot lumumba for adults.
The trolley is out between 5pm and 9pm.
Inside, we invite you to enjoy our exquisite selection of Autumn cakes, among other, a new pink creation in the shape of a pumpkin.
Hidden gems
For more than 30 years, Culture Night has been a beacon of light and life in Copenhagen in the darkening month of October. The idea is simple: to open cultural institutions after hours and unlock doors that are normally closed, inviting participants to discover hidden treasures – from secret underground tunnels to the city’s highest towers.
Visit museums, theatres, town halls, churches and ministries - and do stop by Maison for something sweet to bring along when you explore the city.
