ALEXANDER BAERT
Bringing his impressive experience and an exciting culinary ethos to Marchal, Executive Head Chef Alexander Baert has honed his skills alongside some of Europe’s most esteemed chefs. He is passionate about reinterpreting timeless dishes with a modern spin, and earned his position at Marchal through his ambition, creativity and love of French cuisine.


WHERE PASSION MEETS ART
Once upon a time, French servant Jean Marchal married Maria Coppy, the Royal Chef’s daughter. The alliance was built on their shared love of cooking and creating memorable guest experiences. Inspired by their love story, Marchal opened in 2013, and continues to honour their legacy, bringing together Nordic and French cuisine in delicious harmony.
